The Rockwool Thermal Cavity (160-165mm) Barrier 1.2m x 170 x 150mm (L x W x T) works to improve a building’s fire safety by preventing the spread of fire within concealed voids. By specifying and installing the TCB Cavity Barrier or, they provide essential protection whilst also helping to minimise air leakage and heat loss between the external cavity and the separating party wall. Manufactured from non-combustible stone wool, the barrier is encapsulated within a resilient polythene sleeve which eliminates the need for weather protection during installation. The sleeve is also colour-coded to differentiate between products, the TCB being red. Easy to install, it's suitable for vertical and horizontal applications.
