Change in Kingspan’s Kooltherm K100 Series thermal performance

Kingspan has announced a minor change to the declaration of thermal performance relating to the above range of products.

It has been observed that there’s a slight increase in the lambda results and therefore, in line with their routine compliance protocols, Kingspan is altering the declaration of thermal performance by 0.001 W/mK from 0.018 W/mK to 0.019 W/mK. This change applies across all thicknesses to the following products:

•    Kooltherm K103 Floorboard
•    Kooltherm K106 Cavity Board
•    Kooltherm K107 Pitched Roof Board
•    Kooltherm K108 Cavity Board
•    Kooltherm K110 Soffit Board
•    Kooltherm K110 PLUS Soffit Board
•    Kooltherm K112 Framing Board
•    Kooltherm K118 Insulated Plasterboard

This change will be applicable to products manufactured on or after 8th August, when all related literature and DOP’s will be updated.
