He continues: "From an operations perspective the move was in planning for a long time, but the biggest challenge was the movement of stock, the two sites might just be three miles apart, but the real opportunity was to implement a new, dynamic stock profile in West Drayton perfectly matched to the market and customer opportunity. The outcome of this exercise has been transformational in the way we service projects. Legacy stock has been completely eradicated from the branch and our new stock ordering process allows us to be far more agile and responsive to customer needs. There’s no question, we have significantly improved our ability to respond to complex projects. With faster replenishment times and a much slicker operation, we have the genuine capability to meet all projects of every scale.”

With clear and obvious customer benefits supported by the move, the Minster team is also enjoying the new location.
