British Gypsum product recall - Gyproc DuraLine 15mm and Gyproc SoundBloc F 15mm

A routine quality inspection of Gyproc DuraLine and Gyproc SoundBloc F has identified a problem with a small quantity of the product. British Gypsum has therefore taken the decision to recall the products affected.
British Gypsum have communicated: “As a company, we are committed to producing the highest quality solutions and product that fails to meet our intended specification on any scale is not acceptable. We apologise unreservedly for the disruption that our decision to recall these products may cause, however we feel this is the responsible way forward.”
The following products are affected:
- Gyproc DuraLine TE 2400 x 1200 x 15mm
- Gyproc SoundBloc F TE 2400 x 1200 x15mm
- Gyproc SoundBloc F TE 3000 x 1200 x 15mm
Guidance for the identification of the affected products:
The product date IDs affected are Gyproc SoundBloc F: 102 and Gyproc DuraLine: 102, 103, 108 and 109. Please see the guidance sheet on how to identify the product concerned.
The recall only relates to a small quantity of product. For a short period, part of a batch of product was not manufactured to the intended specification. The issue has now been rectified and all products currently being dispatched and any product manufactured prior to, and following the time period in question (00:43 on 12th April to 19:01 on 19th April) are to the correct specification.
