DuPont™ Tyvek® 1310B Butyl Tape 30m x 20mm (L x W) Black, 8 rolls per box is a 100% butyl adhesive tape. The product is easy to tear. It is suitable for brickwork, blockwork, masonry, timber, metal work and plastic products. This tape is effective when used under compression. Double-sided butyl based sealant, used to form a moistur and airtight seal between a Tyvek membrane or DuPontTM AirGuard AVCL and most commonly used building materials. Butyl Tape is most effective when used under compression, eg. under a timber batten and is recommended for use at perimeters, chimneys, abutments and for sealing nail penetrations and around electrical sockets.
