The Rockwool Steel Frame Slab 1.2m x 600 x 150mm (L x W x T) is a non-combustible stone wool insulation product specifically designed for use in steel frame buildings. The Steel Frame Slab has been engineered to achieve optimum performance for meeting thermal, acoustic and fire requirements in external walls. Stone wool makes the product an effective thermal insulator, maintaining comfortable indoor environments by protecting against fluctuations in outdoor temperatures in both summer and winter. The tailored dimensions and lower weight of the slabs makes handling and installation quicker and easier, as well as minimising waste. The optimised product weight also increases the coverage per pack and compression packing technology improves both transport and storage efficiency.
