Promat Vermiculux-S Calcium Silicate Board 2.5 x 1.2m x 40mm

The Promat Vermiculux-S Calcium Silicate Board 2500 x 1200 x 40mm (L x W x T) is used for fire protection of steel structures. It's an A1 non-combustible board that provides up to 240 minutes of fire protection to structural steel. In the event of a fire, the board maintains its permanent dimensional stability helping to reduce the speed at which the steelwork will heat up, allowing it to maintain its loadbearing capacity for longer. Vermiculux®-S is used to protect one, two, three or four sided encasements to universal columns and beams, joists and RSJs, structural hollow sections, bracing, lattice beams, partially exposed members, perimeter beams, beams supporting composite floors with profiled metal decking and wind posts.
