The ARC Thermal Party Wall Cavity (for 75mm timber to brickwork cavity) Fire Barrier 1200 x 250mm x 90mm (L x W x T) White is used as a cavity fire barrier for timber frame construction. The barrier restricts the spread of smoke and flames in case of a fire, as well as minimising the effect of flanking noise pollution at wall junctions. Manufactured from low-resin, non-combustible rock fibre mineral wool insulation, it is sleeved in polythene for on-site protection. Designed to be compression fitted. In vertical applications, both flanges are fixed; in horizontal applications, only the top flange should be fixed.
