Best in Class

Working in partnership with contractor Wates, McCrory Brickwork contractors and specialist drylining contractor Bluegyp, Minster provided a range of environmental insulation and protection products for the project as well as a full drylining solution to create internal walls and ceilings that comply with the latest building regulations and the Department for Education output specification for new schools.

With some products subject to allocation, the project required a heightened level of planning and communication between our local branch team and the contractors on site to ensure products were delivered on time. The strength of this collaboration ensured that potential delays to the progress of the build were prevented.

Success

Eileen Betteridge, Business Manager at Minster, says: "Star Salford Academy is set to be a fantastic secondary school facility for pupils in the Salford area.  We are thrilled to have been part of the project and to continue working in partnership with the teams at Wates, Bluegyp and McCrory Brickwork.  Good communication and collaboration is always key to the success of a construction project and this project is a great example of how we go the extra mile to ensure that this is executed.”
