Minster nominated Supplier of the Year at the National Green Deal and Eco Awards 2015

Organisers are predicting sell-out crowds for the second annual National Green Deal & ECO Awards where Minster is shortlisted as Supplier of the Year. Minster will also be jointly sponsoring the main drinks reception ahead of the awards dinner with Greenworks Training Academy.

Well over 500 guests will pack the Palace Hotel in Manchester in June for the showcase event. Guests will be mainly a mix of suppliers from the construction sector such as Kingspan and SG Weber, and from energy companies such as EDF Energy, whose customers include contractors, installers and housing associations.

A snapshot of Minster’s stance on Social Responsibility;

Minster is part of Saint-Gobain who is a world leader in the habitat and construction markets. Minster contributes to developing and delivering products that improve the performance of buildings and enhance the living and working environment. They are designed to meet the needs of today’s society, without impacting negatively on tomorrow’s world. The vast majority of Minster’s sales are for products that directly benefit the environment; primarily through improved energy efficiency.

The ethos of Minster as an organisation is to respect people’s rights and opportunities, while also protecting the planet. By minimising the depletion of natural resources, improving recycling and the recovery of materials, and ensuring the health and welfare of employees, Minster is able to positively influence the acceptance of sustainable best practice in these areas.

 Well Warm first started working with Minster around six months ago when our staff were enrolled on EWI courses.

 “I would definitely recommend EWI training provided by Minster. The one-day course gives my staff hands-on training rather than putting them in a classroom and making them watch a video or presentation.”

 “Minster are always there for any of my staff if they need technical help and ongoing support, which is great.”

 “The EWI training that our staff receive means our business is able to go from strength to strength.”

 Impressionist Rory Bremner will present the awards, with polar explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes also providing entertainment.
